About Me

Hello all,

My name is Josiah and If you have stumbled across this page, you probably have no idea who I am, yet. If you were given a link to this blog then you may know who I am already, if you do not…well you may well soon know me better.

I have started this blog for, honestly, many reasons. One reason is to just record my thoughts, life experiences and share them with those who may have thoughts and experiences similar to myself. Another reason that I have started this blog is to help myself on my path to better mental health and create a better habit of journaling if I can. I do not intend this to really get big and truly impress people, or change them, or really anything for that matter. I just hope that I might be able to touch even just a few. I am excited to see here my whole life goes as I go on this journey that we call life, and do my best to share it with you.

Back to more about myself. I am 27 years old, for those who follow horoscopes and such I am a Leo so that gives some insight about who I am. I live in the Willamette valley in Oregon and have lived here my whole life thus far. I Love living here and have had many adventures in my short 27 years of life that have seemed so long from time to time.

I am a man with many interests and desires as well as skills. I would love to say that I am an expert at them all but I definitely am far from an expert at anything that I do other than living my life, making mistakes and doing my best to learn from them to be a better person.

I am also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and there are many stereotypes that come from mentioning any religious affiliation. This blog will have some religious posts and references but that will not be the sole reason for the post.

Another interesting fact about me that will make this blog an interesting read (I hope) for those who stumble across this is that I am gay. Yes you read that right, I am a man who is attracted to other men. I do intend on marrying another man in the future. There are also many stereotypes that go along with anyone who is part of the LGBT community, and a lot of controversy when it comes to anyone who is LDS and openly gay.

There is a little bit about me and I will be talking more about myself, my views, my thoughts, and my experiences as well over time. I am also always open to questions from those who have them for me so please feel free to reach out. I will be posting hopefully at least once a week for a while and may increase the frequency or decrease it as time allows. I will also hopefully have a variety of types of posts as time goes one so you do not have just the same type of posts coming from me all the time.
